Here’s where it gets worse: Another half dozen won’t be playing in Week 9. Then it’s four more in Week 10, four more in Week 11.

That’s a tough stretch of possibly having multiple regular starters out of your lineup. Good thing “The Decider” is here to help you make some of the tighter, tougher replacement decisions:

Fantasy Football Week 8 Start ’em: Quarterbacks

Jameis Winston, Buccaneers (vs. OAK). Winston got rolling against a Bay Area team on the road last week. Now he’ll get to be in a pleasing shootout with Derek Carr and the Raiders at home. Winston is a must-start and can go off for big points in all formats.

DFS Steal: Ryan Fitzpatrick, Jets (at CLE, $7,300 on FanDuel). The Browns have given up at least two touchdown passes to every QB they’ve faced this season. Five of them have amassed a combined 300 yards or more. The Fitzmagic continues.

Four more: Matt Ryan, Falcons (vs. GB), Dak Prescott, Cowboys (vs. PHI), Alex Smith, Chiefs (at IND), Brock Osweiler, Texans (vs. DET)

Fantasy Football Week 8 Sit ’em: Quarterbacks

Philip Rivers, Chargers (at DEN). The Broncos have held every QB not named Cam Newton to fewer than 15 fantasy points in standard leagues. Rivers couldn’t crack 14 against them at home two weeks ago. Now he’s got two wideouts and a tight end really banged up, and Melvin Gordon continues to be the TD maker.

Four more: Blake Bortles, Jaguars (at TEN), Matthew Stafford, Lions (at HOU), Tyrod Taylor, Bills (vs. NE),  Kirk Cousins, Redskins (vs. CIN)

Fantasy Football Week 8 Start ’em: Running backs

Latavius Murray, Raiders (at TB). Murray came back from his turf toe last week, but he struggled to run well against the Jaguars. He compensated with a pair of short TDs. The Buccaneers are giving up a lot of those types of plunges.

DFS Steal: Devontae Booker, Broncos (vs. SD, $5,600 on FanDuel). Booker was playable in this juicy Chargers matchup had C.J. Anderson been healthy. But now that Anderson has a knee injury that is likely to keep him out for a couple games, the rising rookie is underpriced. Take advantage of it and book Booker into a lineup.

Four more: Christine Michael, Seahawks (at NO), Jeremy Hill and Giovani Bernard, Bengals (vs. Redskins), Jacquizz Rodgers, Buccaneers (vs. OAK), Matt Asiata, Vikings (at CHI)

Fantasy Football Week 8 Sit ’em: Running backs

Jordan Howard, Bears (vs. MIN). Here we go again. Howard was running extremely well until he slowed down of late. Then Ka’Deem Carey is suddenly around to make this a two-man thing for now. Minnesota has erased all good yardage from backs and has allowed only one TD to them since DeMarco Murray doubled up as a receiver in Week 1.

“Four” more: Mark Ingram, Saints (vs. SEA), Jonathan Stewart, Panthers (vs. ARI), Isaiah Crowell/Duke Johnson Jr. , Browns (vs. NYJ), Ryan Mathews/Darren Sproles, Eagles (at DAL).

Fantasy Football Week 8 Start ’em: Wide receivers

Stefon Diggs, Vikings (at CHI). Diggs dismantled the Bears’ defense as a rookie, turning 16 targets into nine catches for 150 yards and three TDs. He should be healthier from his groin injury to provide a much needed spark to an otherwise dormant passing game.

DFS Steal: Donte Moncrief, Colts (vs. KC, $5,400 on FanDuel). Moncrief is on track to return from his shoulder injury this week, and he steps into a great matchup against the Chiefs, who have been burned by No. 1 speed receiver types all season.

Four more: Quincy Enunwa, Jets (at CLE), John Brown, Cardinals (at CAR), Will Fuller, Texans (vs. DET), Mohamed Sanu, Falcons (vs. GB)

Fantasy Football Week 8 Sit ’em: Wide receivers

Jeremy Maclin, Chiefs (at IND). Maclin is on pace for 72 catches, 888 yards and three TDs. That’s hardly inspiring WR3 material. His only score was all the way back in Week 1. The Colts are decent against wideouts again with a healthy Vontae Davis, plus they are very easy to burn with running backs and tight ends. There’s no need for Smith to force it downfield to Maclin.

“Four” more: Travis Benjamin and Tyrell Williams, Chargers (at DEN), Willie Snead and Michael Thomas, Saints (vs. SEA), Chris Hogan and Julian Edelman, Patriots (at BUF), Brandon LaFell, Bengals (vs. WAS)

Fantasy Football Week 8 Start ’em: Tight end

C.J. Fiedorowicz, Texans (vs. DET). It’s about time they used him more in the passing game. His recent spike in targets and production is well timed for a date with the Lions, who have rendered only one tight end unplayable this season.

DFS Steal: Gary Barnidge, Browns (vs. NYJ, $5,000 on FanDuel). It’s looking like Josh McCown can be healthy enough to play against the Jets, but both Terrelle Pryor Sr. and Corey Coleman are still hurting. That tilts the passing production to Barnidge very nicely.

Four more: Zach Ertz, Eagles (at DAL), Jacob Tamme, Falcons (vs. GB), Julius Thomas, Jaguars (at TEN), Cameron Brate, Buccaneers (vs. OAK).

Fantasy Football Week 8 Sit ’em: Tight end

Martellus Bennett, Patriots (at BUF). Bennett dropped a hundy on the Bills at home in a shutout loss in Week 4. But overall, the Bills have allowed the second-fewest fantasy points to tight ends. Plus, Bennett is banged up with a sore ankle and has been more blocking and spectating as a receiver with Gronk being Gronk.

Four more: Jason Witten, Cowboys (vs. PHI), Jack Doyle, Colts (vs. KC), Coby Fleener, Saints (vs. SEA), Kyle Rudolph, Vikings (at CHI)

Full Week 8 TE rankings

Fantasy Football Week 8 Start ’em: Defense

Panthers (vs. ARI). The Cardinals are giving up a lot of sacks of late and have the left side of their offensive line banged up. Carson Palmer has been down and up. That should create some fantasy scoring opportunities for a desperate Carolina defense.

DFS Steal: Cowboys (vs. PHI, $4,600 on FanDuel). The Eagles’ offense is out of sync, and that’s forced Carson Wentz to start playing like a rookie with the requisite mistakes. They’re also fumbling and bumbling at other positions.

Four more: Jets (at CLE), Chiefs (at IND), Titans (vs. JAX), Jaguars (at TEN)

Full Week 8 D/ST rankings

Fantasy Football Week 8 Sit ’em: Defense

Eagles (at DAL). They put together a couple of strong games, scoring twice on Washington and ripping apart Minnesota. But the Cowboys can run well, protect Dak Prescott, and protect the ball. Stay away.

Four more: Texans (vs. DET), Patriots (at BUF), Bills (vs. NE), Lions (at HOU).
